There’s another milestone in the development of the Monster Hunter Rise expansion. Capcom’s moved onto voice acting. Director Yoshitake Suzuki announced the Monster Hunter Rise voice actors are in the studio for Sunbreak.
Here’s Suzuki’s announcement. In it, he confirmed the Monster Hunter Rise voice actors started recording their lines. It’s accompanied by a photo of the studio. While some of the development team are pictured from behind, no voice actors are shown. The recording booth is empty in the picture. Also, the announcement didn’t mention any of the voice actors who might be returning.
Hello everyone!
We recently started voice recordings for the characters in this upcoming expansion to #MHRise. The team has assembled a wonderful cast and the actors are really pouring their heart and soul into their performances!

This is the second recent bit of Monster Hunter Rise news that has to do with voice actors. The other involves two new selectable voices and potential presets for hunters. People can now get add-ons that bring SungWon “ProZD” Cho as Hibasa and Debra Wilson as Monju to the game.
Monster Hunter Rise is available for the Nintendo Switch. The PC version will be available on January 12, 2022. Demos are available for both platforms. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will release in Summer 2022.
