Monster Hunter Rise – Insect Glaive

The first Insect Glaive action in the video is “Silkbind Vault.” It starts with a leaping attack, which can be followed-up with a Jumping Slash, Jumping Advancing Slash, or Midair Evade. The second action, called “Recall Kinsect,” calls back your Kinsect while dodging. While returning, the Kinsect performs a spinning attack that scatters healing extracts. It will also fully recover its stamina once it returns to the hunter.

Monster Hunter Rise – Gunlance

The first new action from the Gunlance is “Hail Cutter.” This action performs a Rising Slash, then an Overhead Smash, but the best part about it is that it reduces Wyvern’s Fire’s cooldown. “Guard Edge” allows you to guard against a monster’s attack to regenerate your weapon’s sharpness. You can also follow-up the Guard Edge with various attacks.
