Monster Hunter Rise Heavy Bowgun

The first unique move shown for the Heavy Bowgun was the Silkbind attack “Free Silkbind Glide.” This action will allow you to push the stick to glide in any direction. You can also follow that with a close-range attack or sheath the weapon. The next move shared was “Counter Shot,” which stretches out silk for a counterattack stance. A fierce attack will activate if you’re hit while in this stance.

Monster Hunter Rise Light Bowgun

The second video featured a look at new actions for the Light Bowgun. The first move shown is the “Silkbind Glide,” which will essentially a faster version of the Heavy Bowgun’s Free Silkbind Glide. The Light Bowgun-wielder could follow that with a powerful, close-ranged severing attack. The “Fanning Vault” will be a maneuver that will launch the gunner with a Wirebug to make shots rain down from above. While in mid-air, you will be able to fire, reload, or shoot a Wyvernblast directly below you.
