The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion showed up at The Game Awards 2021 pre-show and got a release window and amiibo announcement. People will be able to pick up the add-on in Summer 2022. There will be three new amiibo released alongside it.
Here’s the latest trailer. It showed off a new monster called Lunagaron and a new, royal character.

As for the three new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak amiibo, each one involves layered armor. There will be a Canyne Malzeno X Palamute, a Felyne Malzeno X Palico, and a Malzeno. Malzeno is the flagship monster for the Sunbreak expansion.
Monster Hunter Rise is out on the Nintendo Switch now. It will come to the PC on January 12, 2022. The Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak expansion will be out in Summer 2022 for the Switch and PC. There already are amiibo of the Palamute, Palico, and Magnamalo.
