Japanese retailer MSY will release a series of Monster Hunter Rise patches featuring the Magnamalo and various weapon icons associated with the game. A total of seventeen patches will be available to purchase, with each patch costing ¥1,800 (or $16) individually. The patches will release on March 26, 2021, coinciding with the worldwide release of Monster Hunter Rise. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The GRAPHT GAMING LIFE brand, known for its video game apparel and accessories, will be releasing the patches. As mentioned previously, the patches are modeled after the various weapon icons found in the series. Consumers can get their hands on a Magnamalo and Monster Hunter Rise logo patch as well. The patches are embroidered, creating a unique texture for every induvial patch.
The patches will be available to purchase through select retailers. However, these patches will only be available to Japanese consumers. Other Monster Hunter Rise merchandise available to consumers includes special UNIQLO collaboration shirts, and Capcom Cafe exclusive items. This includes cups, stationary, and cultural items featuring the Monster Hunter Rise brand.
Monster Hunter Rise will be available for the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021. A free demo is currently available to download and features an entirely new hunt where players can test their skills against the Magnamalo.
