The Final Monster Hunter Rise Event Quest Gives Players Blossom Armor

The final Monster Hunter Rise event quest before the release of Sunbreak is available and gives the Blossom Armor set. Hunters can take on the “Memories of That Day” event quest via Senri the Mailman. The event quest will task players with hunting down the three monsters that originally appeared in the demo version.

“Memories of That Day” is an HR 4 event quest. Once downloaded from Senri the Mailman in the Steelworks area of Kamura Village, players can take on the quest from the Gathering Hub. The quest takes place in the Shrine Ruins area and requires you to hunt down the Great Izuchi, Mizutsune, and Magnamalo. These three monsters were the hunting targets of the Monster Hunter Rise demo version that appeared back in March 2021.

Upon completing the event quest, players will unlock the Blossom layered armor set for Monster Hunter Rise. The Blossom Armor set originally appeared in Monster Hunter: World as part of a special reward during the annual Spring Blossom Fest event. Unlike other throwback armor sets like the Origin or Guild Cross sets, however, it will be purely cosmetic.

The new event quest and armor set come just one day before the one-year anniversary of Monster Hunter Rise‘s release. The game’s major expansion, Sunbreak, is meanwhile set to release on June 30, 2022. As such, Capcom stated during a recent broadcast that “Memories of That Day” would be the last event quest to appear before the release of Sunbreak.

Monster Hunter Rise is available to play on the Nintendo Switch and PC, and the Blossom Armor set is available for both platforms.
