More Monster Hunter Rise concept appeared! Capcom has been doling out new images via the official Twitter account for the game. The latest looks at another wyvern we’ll see. Specifically, it’s a clearer look at the Monster Hunter Rise Aknosom.
The Aknosom was one of the new monsters first featured during the Monster Hunter Rise reveal. As clarified during the 2020 Tokyo Game Show presentation, it is a “fiercely territorial” bird wyvern. We later saw footage of the “Umbrella Bird” spitting fireballs at a hunter.
Here’s a better look at both of Capcom’s new Monster Hunter Rise Aknosom images.
This isn’t the only recent bit of Monster Hunter Rise concept art shared. We also got a better look at the Wirebug back on October 2, 2020. That’s the new creature-feature that lets you grapple around the game’s world or even attack enemies. Before that, we saw the female and male starter armor and Magnamalo.
Plenty of new elements have been shown off since the game’s September 2020 announcement. We got to see how the Palamute, the new ally, works. Plenty of monster footage has been shared too, such as the fight between the Arzuros and Tetranadon.
Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 26, 2021.
