We knew the Monster Hunter Now release date would fall in September 2023. Now thanks to the latest showcase, we have a more exact date. On September 14, 2023, people will get to head into Niantic and Capcom’s new AG game. We also know there will be 13 kinds of monsters in Monster Hunter Now at launch.
Talk about the monsters came up at the five minute mark. Here’s the full list of what we’ll be able to potentially see and fight right away.

- Kulu-Ya-Ku
- Great Girros
- Great Jagras
- Legiana
- Paolumu
- Pukei-Pukei
- Rathalos
- Rathian
- Tobi-Kadachi
People will get 75 seconds to fight each monster.
At the 17:40 mark, the different weapons that will be present in the game at launch appeared. Only six will appear. Only the Bow and Hammer are “new” since the initial reveal. Here’s the list:

- Light Bowgun
- Long Sword
- Sword and Shield

The Monster Hunter Now release date is September 14, 2023. As for mainline entries, the most recent release is Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion. That is available immediately on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
