Niantic announced that Monster Hunter Now reached three million pre-registrations worldwide ahead of its launch on September 14, 2023. The company also announced that distribution of the pre-registration rewards will be coming at a later date through a scheduled update. For reaching the three million pre-registration milestone, players will receive two Makeup items and two Reward Tickets to spend on special items in Monster Hunter Now. Players will also receive ten Potions, three Paintballs, A Founder Medal, three Wander Pebbles, and an item box expansion in order to fit an additional 500 items.
If Monster Hunter Now reaches five million pre-registrations, all players will receive 10,000 Zenny and an additional item box expansion. Anybody who downloads and plays the mobile game within the first seven days of its launch will receive all of the pre-registration items.
To celebrate reaching three million pre-registrations, Niantic and Capcom have released the launch trailer for the game featuring a rearrangement of “survival dAnce” by 4s4ki and Yaffle. The trailer features TikTok and YouTube stars including KATY, Saori Izawa, Naasuke, COCOA, and the members of Team48 as they battle monsters across Shibuya in Japan.
Monster Hunter Now will launch worldwide on Android and iOS devices on September 14, 2023.
