The limited-time attraction Monster Hunter: The Field in Nijigen no Mori is adding Zinogre to its autumn 2024 training quests. Held at the Hyogo Prefectural Awaji Island Park, the event lets participants act as novice hunters, with the goal of increasing their Hunter Rank by completing various quests.
Participants must achieve a Hunter Rank 2 or higher to take on the Zinogre quest. The attraction includes two main phases: “Field Exploration,” where players explore the expansive area to collect items and felyne companions, and “Defeating Large Monsters,” which simulates battles using weapon controllers and tracking devices.
Monster Hunter: The Field in Nijigen no Mori runs from July 27, 2024 to January 31, 2025 with tickets priced between ¥2,900 to ¥7,600 (approximately $19 to $51 USD), depending on the number of hunts.
In related news, Zinogre was named the top monster in the Monster Hunter series during the Hunter’s Choice popularity poll, which was part of the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Showcase in March 2024. Players voted from a selection of 229 monsters, with Zinogre taking the number one spot.
Monster Hunter Rise is playable on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Monster Hunter Wilds is in development and will be released in 2025.
