Monster Hunter games aren’t exactly known for their stories, but that doesn’t stop Capcom from adding new events with their own stories to their MMO title, Monster Hunter Fronter G. 4Gamer gives us a look at the latest additions to the game.
The story of the new scenario revolves around a songstress of Mezoporta. She seems to have lost her singing voice, so it’ll be up to the Hunters to retrieve it by accomplishing all kinds of missions.
Upon completing the new event, players will be granted the new tonfa weapons that are only available in Monster Hunter Frontier G.
As you advance through the story, you’ll be able to listen to the songstress’ songs for buffs, so she’s kind of like a walking Hunting Horn.
The event will start you out with simpler quests that will get you pieces for a series of equipment called the Irique set, but after going through several quests, it’ll give Hunters more of a challenge, that will involve some sort of flying black dragon.
By completing all 10 chapters, you’ll get the materials to make the set and its more enhanced high rank and G-rank versions. Additionally, completing this series of events will grant you access to the all-new tonfa weapon, the Senryuu Kon.
The songstress event is currently available on Monster Hunter Frontier G.
