Physical copies of the Monster Hunter movie have a tentative release date. The Amazon product listings for the Monster Hunter DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray are live and suggest it will show up on March 2, 2021. It will be $19.99 for the DVD, $22.99 for the Blu-ray, and $29.99 for the 4K Ultra HD release. [Thanks, ComicBook.com!]
As is common with such releases, what you get with each version varies. The Monster Hunter DVD version only gives you a DVD. If you get the Blu-ray, you get a digital copy as well. The 4K Ultra HD option gives you the chance to see it via 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and digital options.
The Monster Hunter movie first debuted in theaters in December 2020. However, it was pulled in China almost immediately after it launched due to the appearance of a racially insensitive joke that appeared in the film. Monster Hunter World ended up getting a Milla Jovovich crossover event in-game to coincide with its launch.
It seems the Monster Hunter DVD and Blu-ray copies will appear on March 2, 2021, and it is currently still in theaters There is no streaming option to watch the movie online, in the event someone is social distancing, though Amazon does have a listing for the digital copy online.
