Teostra, an Elder Dragon that first appeared in Monster Hunter 2, is back in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and he has a bunch of new attacks. Capcom have outlined some of these in in update on Capcom Unity.

The main change in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is that Teostra’s can use his tail and claw swipes to spread explosive dust that latches on to you. Previously, he was only capable of doing this using his explosive area-of-effect attack.

Weapons created using Teostra material used to be Fire Element, but in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, these are Blast (previously called Slime). That name change also applies to the Blastblight (previously called Slimeblight) condition in the game.
