Monopon Reveals Monolith Soft Company Emblem Badge

Monolith Soft revealed its real-life company emblem badge on its Japanese official X account. This post is part of the newly established series of social media updates to let people know more about the studio behind the Xenoblade Chronicles series, which has been wholly owned by Nintendo as of 2024.

The badge has been known to be worn by Monopon, the official mascot of Monolith Soft. The character also wore the badge when she appeared as a Challenge Battle boss in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Monolith Soft has since revealed that it also produced the badges in the real world. The studio’s staff members would regularly wear the badge when they attend social meetings and other events outside the office.

The original Japanese tweet from Monolith Soft’s official X account is also available to view right below, which offers a look at the emblem on Monopon:

While Monolith Soft originated as a Bandai Namco subsidiary in 1999, Nintendo acquired it in 2007. The studio has since primarily produced the Xenoblade Chronicles series of games, all of which have appeared exclusively on Nintendo’s game consoles.

As of the end of 2024, Monolith Soft is working to release a remaster of the 2015 Wii U entry Xenoblade Chronicles X simultaneously worldwide for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2025.
