Monark is a JRPG made by former Shin Megami Tensei developers. Battles will be turned-based and use a system called EGO, in which the protagonist summons Underlings aligned with whichever of the seven deadly sins he’s leaning toward.

Leading up to both its Japanese and English launches, many videos appeared. For example, Japanese and English allies trailers appeared. Each one showcased different voice work and characters players will work alongside. FuRyu also shared the opening movie. It featured the song “Nihil,” which is performed by the virtual singer KAF, a Virtual Singer.

The Monark demo will release in Japan on October 8, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with the full game set for an October 14, 2021 release. NIS America will publish the title will worldwide in 2022 for consoles and PC. The US limited edition set includes the physical game, an art book, a cloth poster, a soundtrack, and a set of five acrylic stands.
