Mock Neptune Console Packed With Hyperdimension Neptunia Soundtrack CDs

This article is over 10 years old and may contain outdated information

The Hyperdimension Neptunia series is a parody of the video game industry with riffs on Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony. Neptune is a joke about the Sega Neptune console (a 32X and Genesis all in one machine) that never came out, but you can put a Neptune console from the Neptunia series on your shelf. It just won’t play any games since it’s a mock Neptune machine.

The Hyperdimension Neptunia Share Complete Discs is a compilation of vocal songs from the PS3 games, anime series, and the PlayStation Vita title Hyperdimension Neptunia PP Idol. You get five CDs with original versions and remixes. It’s the packaging that makes this set unique since the discs are in a Neptune console. The "system" measures 330 mm x 330 mm x 60 mm. You also get a mock Neptune controller that’s 140 mm x 20 mm, which is a little smaller than a DualShock 3.

The CDs are packaged inside a mock manual and you get a map of Gameindustri too. Mages will sell the item for 12,800 yen ($122) on March 26.
