Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, a PlayStation 3 game based on the anime series of the same name, has two modes. Unicorn mode lets players experience the original story with full voice acting. Each of the five playable characters: Banagher, Mineva, Riddhe, Marida, and Full Frontal tell the story from their point of view.

Gundam cast mode is new for the PS3 game. You’ll fight battles made for the game here as a captain with three crew members. Each pilot has a difference target preference. Riddhe, for example, takes out small fry units while Marida goes for landmarks. You can also select Gundam and weapons before a battle begins.

Each of the game’s scenarios are split into multiple missions with branching paths. The amount of damage your Gundam takes and remaining ammunition carry over to the next mission. Between missions you can change Mobile Suits.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn is slated for release in spring 2012.
