Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force Shows Off Its Large-Scale Battles And Modes

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force is the latest entry in Bandai Namco’s Extreme VS Mobile Suit action games, and 4Gamer provides us with a look at the latest details and screenshots of the upcoming PlayStation Vita title.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS Force isn’t a port of the arcade game, but it’ll feature many familiar elements from the series such as the 2-on-2 battles, along with a new feature that lets you command units in large-scale battles.

In these large-scale battles, players will get to put together a team of six Mobile Suits to make their own original teams consisting of three platoons along with a battleship.

“Extreme Force” is the game’s main mode, where you’ll start out with original missions and go through episodes that will take you from Mobile Suit Gundam through Mobile Suit Gundam UC. In this mode, you’ll take on missions,acquire Mobile Suits, level up your pilot, and customize your own team.

“Force Battle” mode is a competitive Ad-hoc mode, where you and a friend can participate in 2-on-2 battles.
