Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 Adds DualSense Support and English VO

The free-to-play Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 will soon have a new home. Back in October 2020, Bandai Namco confirmed the PS4 game would work on the PS5. Now, the Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 version will launch on January 28, 2021 with special DualSense features, the ability to transfer your save data, and a new map and an extra voice over option. The Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 DualSense features all have to do with the haptic feedback you’ll experience as you play. This is a 6v6 third-person shooter. When you use different weapons, they will all feel and sound different due to the PS5 controller’s adaptive triggers and vibration functions. Both before and after you fire, thanks to artificial recoil, you’ll feel it.

Some of the changes won’t be limited to the Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 version. A general update will appear that same day. This will allow save files to carry over. The English voice acting option will appear in H.A.R.O. that day. So will the Military Base map. However, improved loading will only appear in the PS5 version.

Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2 launched on the PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018. A worldwide version appearing a year later in 2019. The Gundam Battle Operation 2 PS5 version will appear on January 28, 2021.
