In a strange revelation we are getting Away: Shuffle Dungeon, but it won’t be published by Xseed even though AQ Interactive is their parent company. The good news is Away: Shuffle Dungeon is up to Xseed localization standards. I guess Xseed is too busy working with other projects in addition to their Marvelous Interactive relationship…
As most of you know, Away: Shuffle Dungeon reconfigures the dungeon layout by shuffling the top and bottom screens. If Sword, the protagonist, gets caught during the renovation he and the residents of Webb Village with him take damage. When Sword rescues villagers the town grows and the villagers extend a hand to Sword. Elemental Fupongs are Sword’s other ally. If you find a Fire Fupong in a dungeon Sword can cast a flare spell. Ice Fupongs bestow the frosty spell and Lightning Fupongs shake the dungeon with the rumbly spell.
You can add another ally to the list if you have a physical friend with the game. Away: Shuffle Dungeon has a co-op mode where two players join forces against bosses. Any items earned can be used in the single player game and there are some weapons that can only be found during Raid Battles. Find out what they are this October. Yes, we’re getting Away: Shuffle Dungeon around the same time as Japan.
