Minna no Ranking Ranked Anime Characters for Year of Snake

Minna no Ranking, which previously unveiled an unofficial poll for the cutest Pokemon, revealed its findings for people’s favorite anime and game characters based on snakes. This is due to 2025 being the Year of the Snake.

A total of 400 people voted in this poll, and each answer includes around two responses from people explaining why they voted for this character. Like with the Pokemon poll, you can sort it the results via gender, age, and blood type to figure out different demographics’ taste. You can also filter it via time to focus on more recent votes.

Here are the top 10 anime and game characters that have snakes as their motif:

  1. Obanai Iguro (Demon Slayer)
  2. Boa Hancock (One Piece)
  3. Arbok (Pokemon)
  4. Snivy (Pokemon)
  5. Orochimaru (Pokemon)
  6. Ekans (Pokemon)
  7. Snake (Black Butler: Book of Circus)
  8. Jakotsu (Inuyasha)
  9. Miia (Daily Life With a Monster Girl)
  10. Gorgon Snake (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun)

Other characters who didn’t make it into the top 10, but still appeared in the rankings include: Nadeko (Monogatari series), Nagini (Harry Potter), Ayame (Fruits Basket), Celia Mae (Monsters Inc.), and Cobra (Fairy Tail).

Minna no Ranking uses points for calculation. For example, if you really like a character, you can give a character between 100 and 81 points. The more people who give a high score to a character, the higher they appear on the ranking.

You can check out the full list of results, as well as vote in it yourself, via the Minna no Ranking website.
