Naruto Shippuden: Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX barely takes advantage of the Wii remote in the fighting mode, but the three mini games are a different story. When you start the game only the shuriken throwing game is available, but by playing that mini game you can unlock “Shadow Clone watching” and “Rasengan Training”. Past the break are videos of the three mini games and a little more information on how they utilize the Wii remote.
Shuriken Throwing
This is shooting game where you point the remote at targets and hit “A” to throw shuriken. Hitting Naruto earns 100 points and Kakashi is worth 300. Watch out for Sakura! If you hit her you lose points. Also you only get points when you knock down the cardboard cutouts, which takes a couple of hits to the body or a single hit to the face.
Shadow Clone watching
In this game Naruto makes a bunch of shadow clones and hides among the clones. You have to watch the real Naruto and target him with the analog stick. Once you spot the real Naruto you have to hit him with a kunai by lunging forward with the remote. If you hit the right Naruto the game continues, if you miss or run out of time Naruto throws a kunai at you. As the game continues Naruto makes more shadow clones and moves faster.
Rasengan Training
In rasengan training you spin the nunchuck and the remote just like in Naruto’s special move. The faster you spin the devices the more power Naruto has. At the end you lunge forward with the remote and let the charged Rasengan loose.
