Metroid Prime Trilogy And Other Wii Games Will Be Downloadable On Wii U

Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and other Wii games are coming to the Wii U as downloadable titles, Nintendo announced today.

 

You will be able to play these games without having to switch to Wii mode on the Wii U. Some of these games will also be compatible with the Wii U GamePad, president Satoru Iwata said.

 

Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be available today. Meanwhile, Punch-Out!! will be available on January 22nd and Metroid Prime Trilogy on January 29th. At launch, all three games will be available at half price for a week.
