Atlus released a new Japanese trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio that focuses on Louis, the main villain of the game. The trailer gave new information about Louis, the king’s murderer and suspected responsible for the curse cast on the Prince of the United Kingdom of Euchronia.
The new Metaphor: ReFantazio trailer is entry number 75 as part of the Metaphor Daily Journal series. Louis Guiabern belongs to the Clemar tribe and he is a young army officer in the military ranks of the United Kingdom of Euchronia. Aside from his involvement in the events that start the election and the events of the game, Louis is a skilled combatant and proficient magic user as well as a wise leader and a charismatic individual capable of winning over hearts and minds.
As such, Louis eventually becomes a candidate in the race for the throne after the king’s murder. Louis’ skills blossomed from a young age, and he was known as a “precocious monster,” to the point that even his allies are wary of him. Despite his crime and his status as a traitor, the king’s assassination has left a power vacuum on the throne that makes it so no one can strip him of his rank.
