Metaphor: ReFantazio Bronze I Vesp and Nocross Arena Guide

As you go through the Metaphor: ReFantazio The Varmareno Coliseum ranked fights in Port Brilehaven, you’ll happen upon ones that involve different challenges, and the Bronze I Vesp and Nocross arena battle might prove challenging! That’s because you’re only allowed to use the protagonist in the fight. However, I found a fairly quick and easy way to defeat it.

How do you beat the Bronze I ranked arena fight against Vesp and Nocross in Metaphor: ReFantazio?

The trick I found to beating the Bronze I fight against the Vesp and Nocross in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Basically, make the main character a Sniper. Both of the first two skills you learn as a Sniper are ones that deal piercing physical damage to multiple enemies, potentially multiple times, so long as you set the character in the back row.

There are two reasons this works so well for this particular fight. The first is that the Vesp is weak against piercing damage. The Nocross isn’t weak against that damage type, but it also isn’t strong against it. Since you’ll get the bonus turn for using one of those AOE skills, you get two hits per turn that really help with taking these two down quickly.

When I handled this fight, my main character was at level 42. The two enemies were each at level 38. So having some levels on them both helps as well.

You get four points added to your Courage stat for your trouble. If you aren’t already at the current popularity cap for the race for the throne, you’ll get points toward that too. The two additional rewards for beating the Bronze I Vesp and Nocross arena ranked fight in Metaphor: ReFantazio are a Rainbow Bathblossom and Fortune’s Grasp equipment. You’ll also move up to Silver III.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. There is also a demo available.
