Several Metal Gear Solid titles have recently been removed from digital storefronts. Konami announced that the temporary removal of these titles was due to the company needing to renew the licenses for historical footage used in the titles. This includes Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Edition and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition.
