Mages has published more details on its upcoming visual novel, Memories Off Sousou ~Not Always True~. The company has added the PS5 to the list of platforms Memories Off Sousou will be available for. However, it has also delayed the release window on all platforms from 2024 to early 2025.
All prior mainline Memories Off entries have been playable on the PS5 via backward compatibility, following the release of the Historia compilation for the PS4 in 2021. But with Mages adding the PS5 to the platform list for Memories Off Sousou, it will be the first time the newer console natively supports an entry in the visual novel series.
The company added that Japan will not be the only country to get the new visual novel first. It will add Traditional and Simplified Chinese subtitles at launch and release the game in Chinese-speaking regions across Asia. The simultaneous release thus necessitated the delay in its release window.
Mages has also revealed the full Japanese voice cast list. All key characters—not only the heroines but also the protagonist and other supporting characters—will have voiceovers in the visual novel.

Memories Off Sousou ~Not Always True~ will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan and East Asia in early 2025.
