Capcom Taiwan has opened pre-registration for Mega Man X DiVE, the upcoming smartphone action-platformer game featuring Mega Man X characters. A new ‘Systems’ trailer has also been released. [Thanks, Bahamut!]
Mega Man X DiVE‘s premise revolves around the corruption of databases that have recorded the missions and adventures of X, Zero, Axl, and other famous heroes faced, with the player tasked to restore them by playing through the stages. Originally, the game was set to launch last year, but it was pushed back to Q1 2020 back in December 2019.
Capcom Taiwan released new artwork for X’s First Armor, which will be available in the game alongside Black Zero. Additionally, Cinammon, a character from Mega Man X Command Mission, will also appear in the game.
Players who pre-register for Mega Man X Dive will receive a copy of Alia, the support Reploid from the main games. When pre-registrations reach a certain amount, all players will receive in-game Crystals, as well as a gatling gun weapon.
The game is available for pre-registration here. Currently, pre-registrations are being accepted from the following regions: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Cambodia. Players need to follow and like the game’s Facebook page, and then pre-order the game and enter their email address to fully sign up.
Additionally, for those who joined the previous global servers beta test on Android devices, Capcom Taiwan has provided a link to the beta version where you must remove your access to it before you can pre-register.
Mega Man X Dive is in development for iOS and Android. The game has a Q1 2020 launch window.
