A blast from the past is coming to the PlayStation Store. Capcom has announced Mega Man Legends, the 1998 action RPG starring Mega Man Volnutt, will be released on September 29. Instead of fighting Robot Masters and Dr. Wily, Mega Man and Roll Caskett are Diggers who search ruins for Quantum Refractors.

Mega Man Legends takes place after The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, which was recently released on the PlayStation Store on May 6. However, it preceded the game starring the pirate.

Mega Man Legends will be $9.99 when it appears on the PlayStation Store next week. It will be playable on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
