Capcom has announced the official release date for Mega Man 11. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC owners will be able to fight Dr. Wily on October 2, 2018. As a reminder, the Singapore PlayStation Store recently leaked an October 3, 2018 release date for it.

In Mega Man 11, both Dr. Wily and Dr. Light are both putting an idea they had while at Robot University into action. This means Mega Man will have the Double Gear system for the first time. Double Gear gives him a Power Gear, which lets people to charge the Mega Buster and its weapons more, and a Speed Gear, which lets Mega Man slow down time. When his health is critical, he can use Double Gear to slow time and increase his power.

Two of the Robot Masters for Mega Man 11 have been announced. One is Block Man. He is the brick-wielding boss. Fuse Man is a speedy robot who uses electricity.
