While escargot might not be for everyone, it looks like the Monster Hunter Rise Escurego might be a more universally loved item. Capcom took to the official Twitter account for the game to share a Hunting Helper, a sort of natural creature in the wild that can help people as they play.
The Escuregot announcement was accompanied by a short video showing how it works. As the name suggests, it is a snail someone might fight while out on a hunt. A person could pick the Hunting Helper up and stow them away. Then, later, if you place the Escuregot down, it will release a healing mist that will restore a Hunter’s health in the same way a potion might. This appears as a cloud in the field, and the clip and announcement didn’t note if it is an area-of-effect healer.
Here’s Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise Escurego video.

This isn’t the only bug buddy in Monster Hunter Rise. The Wirebug is essentially your grappling hook, helping you move through the world and trigger certain sorts of attacks.
Monster Hunter Rise will come to the Nintendo Switch worldwide on March 26, 2021.
