Meet Izayoi, The Final Locked Fighter In BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma

Arc System Works just released the last time locked BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma in Japan. Izayoi is Tsubaki’s true form and she has a new set of high speed attacks.

Izayoi doesn’t have Install drive attacks like Tsubaki. She has a Reiori gauge that increases if she hits an enemy with a special attack or blocks. During an Overdrive, the Reiori gauge fills up automatically. Switch to Gain Art mode (right) and you can use her Drive to power up special attacks. Gain Art mode also boosts Izayoi’s speed, which makes her very effective in close range combat.

Here’s how Gain Art mode alters attacks. Izayoi can attack with Sonic Saber, a fast and direct projectile attack. Use the same attack in Gain Art mode and projectiles surround your opponent.

Izayoi’s Overdrive is Freedom Justice. Her Distortion Drive, Justice For Riser, is a fast strike with a long reach. She can also use an enhanced Distortion Drive that deals more damage and has longer reach.
