Medabots Survivor Mobile Game Will Appear in February 2025

The new game’s genre will be Survivor Action. The player will control a Medabot to fend off incoming hordes of enemy units in a similar fashion to Vampire Survivors and HoloCure. Imagineer will put over 30 playable Medabots at launch, and each of them will have their own unique attack skills. When the player has leveled up in a gameplay session, they can also recruit ally Medabots to help the main unit deal with the ever-increasing enemies.

Imagineer has also uploaded the first official trailer for Medabots Survivor on the franchise’s YouTube channel:

The new mobile game release may raise a question about the longevity of Medabots S, which launched earlier in January 2020. While Survivor marks the franchise’s attempt at another genre, Medabots S features team-based RPG battles that play similarly to the mainline handheld console entries. The latter has also been adding crossover content from numerous external franchises like Evangelion and Mega Man.

Medabots Survivor will be available for Android and iOS mobile devices in Japan in February 2025.
