Masterline NieR Automata 2B Figure Teased

Another Square Enix Masterline figure is on the way, and again it will feature NieR Automata heroine 2B. The company shared both a tweet and a trailer teasing the statue. There are no details regarding a release date or price yet. It only notes Square Enix and Prime 1 Studio are teaming up for the 1/3 scale figure and shows initial video of it.

This 2B Masterline figure will feature the NieR Automata heroine with multiple customization options. For example, at the start of the video, her dress is intact. At the one minute mark, her leotard is showing showing and skirt is removed removed. (In game, this look can be accomplished by causing her to self-destruct.) It also looks like she will have two face options, as her blindfold is removed at the 58 second mark. It seems people can change her right’s position too. At the start of the video, her right hand appears to be preparing to attack with Virtuous Contract behind her. At the one minute mark, it is at her side. Pod 042 appears to her left. She also has Virtuous Treaty in the ground behind her.

Here’s a closer look at the figure.

Square Enix announced last NieR Automata Masterline statue back in September 2020. It featured 2B, 9S, and A2. Both standard and deluxe versions were available, with the deluxe model adding extra parts to change the figures’ appearances. It was a 1/4 scale statue, however.

NieR Automata is immediately available on various platforms like the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
