Master Roshi was the first to see Goku’s potential when he was a young boy and took him in as his pupil. He might be a pervert, but his capabilities are the real deal. In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Master Roshi will demonstrate his many moves that he’s learned over the years.

Here are the character stats for Master Roshi in Dragon Ball FighterZ:

  • Power: B

His special attack “World’s Strongest Old Heavenly Martial Arts Master” makes him go into a Max Power status. While in this mode he can pull off combos using his cane, which can be followed with a Kamehameha. Master Roshi doesn’t have a Super Dash but can use his “Master’s Jump” that makes him fly towards the opponent, and he can also do a “Reverse Kamehameha” in mid-air to dash into them as well. His “Thunder Shock Surprise,” shown at the bottom-right, can’t be blocked in the air.

At the top, it shows Master Roshi’s Super Attack “Evil Containment Wave” is a sealing technique created by Master Mutaito, Roshi’s master. It deals massive damage to opponents who get caught and sucked into the container. Below that is a look at the Master Roshi-original move, the Kamehameha, for his Meteor Attack. This isn’t just any Kamehameha, as it is a max-powered blast that packs enough energy to blow anyone away.

At the bottom, there’s mention of Master Roshi using his Yoiko Minmin Ken (Sleepy Boy Technique” that you use against opponents when they’re guarding.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Master Roshi will join as DLC in September 2020, check out his Dragon Ball FighterZ announcement trailer here.
