Mary Skelter 2 Physical Copies Will Have Both Games On The Cartridge

Back at the beginning of October 2019, a Limited Run Games Mary Skelter 2 physical release was confirmed. Now that preorders are about to open on November 26, 2019, Limited Run Games and Idea Factory International have confirmed some details about this run. Perhaps most important is that the game, which includes both Mary Skelter: Nightmares and Mary Skelter 2, will have both games on the cart.

This detail was confirmed when someone asked if both games would be included in the Mary Skelter 2 physical release. Limited Run Games confirmed both of the RPGs would be included on the cartridge, with no download necessary. However, if someone wants to play the original game before the sequel, they would have to download the free DLC from the Nintendo eShop to unlock it. Otherwise, Mary Skelter: Nightmares unlocks after completing the sequel.

Idea Factory International also chimed in to provide details about what sorts of copies will be available. Only a standard version of Mary Skelter 2 will be sold. In a response to a commenter, the company said, “No plans for a collector’s edition for this title.” It also noted that it will only be sold through the Limited Run Games website for now. (Some Limited Run Games titles have appeared in Best Buy stores.)

Mary Skelter 2 physical copy preorders will open at 9am PT/11am CT/12pm ET on November 26, 2019 and remain open until January 10, 2019. It will be $49.99 through the official website. (A digital copy is $39.99.) Limited Run Games orders tend to ship between two and four months after orders close.

Mary Skelter 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch. In Japan, it is also available on PlayStation 4.
