Both the North American and European PlayStation Blogs have announced a PlayStation Now Spider-Man debut. People who subscribe can now go through Manhattan with Peter parkour, swinging around to fight crime and save the day.
Like many PlayStation Now games, Marvel’s Spider-Man will be available to stream or download on the PlayStation 4, though you can only stream if you’re not on the console. However, unlike many PlayStation Now games, this is a rather limited engagement. Sony confirmed it will only be on the service for exactly three months, as it will leave on July 7, 2020.
In addition to the PlayStation Now Spider-Man debut, two other games are launching on the service. Square Enix and Avalanche Studios’ Just Cause 4 will be around until October 6, 2020. The Golf Club 2019 featuring PGA Tour is around now too and has no “end” date.
PlayStation Now allows people to play PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 games on a PlayStation 4 or PC. A free seven-day trial is available for new users, with the monthly subscription costing $9.99, three months costing $24.99, and a year being $59.99.
Marvel’s Spider-Man launched for the PlayStation 4 back in 2018. It was one of Amazon’s best selling games of 2018 and as of January 2019, over nine million copies had been sold.
