Here’s hoping the constant delays are at an end, because it looks like the Iron Man VR game for the PlayStation VR finally has what could be an official launch date. Sony said on Twitter that the new Marvel’s Iron Man VR release date is now July 3, 2020. This comes after the April 2, 2020 announcement that delayed both it and The Last of Us Part II.

Aside from the new July 3, 2020 launch date, there is no extra information about Marvel’s Iron Man VR. There isn’t even a new trailer or new screenshots. However, the announcement does mention more news about the experience will show up ahead of its debut.

This Camouflaj-developed game has experienced multiple postponements since it was announced during the March 25, 2019 State of Play. It had a 2019 release window at the time. But then, it went from 2019 to February 28, 2020, and from there from February 28, 2020 to May 15, 2020. The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic them resulted in an “until further notice” delay, but that has finally been resolved.

In the game, players step into Iron Man’s suit and takes on Ghost as she attacks his company headquarters and labs around the world. (This version of Ghost seems to share a likeness with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s one that appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp.)

Marvel’s Iron Man VR will come to the PlayStation VR on July 3, 2020.
