Marvel’s Avengers PS5 and Xbox Series X Versions Will Appear in March

Big Marvel’s Avengers updates will arrive on March 18, 2021. That’s not only the Hawkeye DLC release date, but when the Marvel’s Avengers PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will debut. Both were discussed and shown off in the February 16, 2021 War Table. With the next generation versions, cross-save and cross-gen play will be available to allow people on the PS4 and Xbox One to play on or with people on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

During the announcements, the Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye DLC ended up getting quite a bit of attention. There’s a story trailer for Hawkeye: Future Imperfect that will answer questions raised by the Kate Bishop Operation’s cliffhanger. There’s also a deep dive into the character himself, looking at what he’s like in-game.

And here’s the Hawkeye deep dive, which also shows how the Marvel’s Avengers PS5 version looks. It also features a cameo appearance from Lucky the dog, Hawkeye’s pet.

To go along with all of that, there’s a trailer that looks at the Marvel’s Avengers PS5 version. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will offer 4K resolutions, with the trailer description also mentioning higher frame rates and faster loading. However, an exact frame rate wasn’t mentioned. The PS5 version will have haptic feedback as well.

Marvel’s Avengers is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The Marvel’s Avengers PS5 and Xbox Series X versions and Hawkeye DLC will show up on March 18, 2021.
