Marvelous Executives And CEO Absorb Deep Pay Cuts

In response to the disappointing earnings forecast, key executive staff at Marvelous Interactive are docking their pay.

Executive staff will take a 15% – 17% cut in their check. Directors are hit harder with a salary reduction ranging from 25% – 43%. The CEO of Marvelous Entertainment will reduce his pay by 77%.

Granted, the executive staff of any media company tend to make the most so it’s not like these guys are going to be working nightshifts at Family Mart. We’re bringing this news up as a contrast. Whenever we hear about troubled Western studios the next few lines usually have to do with layoffs, not executive pay cuts.
