It seems a Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC delay is upon us and has been confirmed in one region. While the North American eShop listing still says the second add-on will arrive in 2019 and the third in 2020, the Japanese eShop says the next two will now both arrive in 2020. [Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!]
There are now exact dates for when the remaining Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC packs are expected to appear. X-Men will be the focus of the second pack, and that is now apparently going to be released in Japan before April 30, 2020. The Fantastic Four add-on will allegedly follow and show up by July 31, 2020. No information on characters or bonuses for either pack were revealed.
Only one of the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC packs has been released since the game’s July 19, 2019 launch. That is the Marvel Knights Curse of the Vampire add-on. It arrived on September 30, 2019 and brought Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, Punisher, and Gauntlet Mode to the game. However, Colossus and Cyclops were added as free DLC and free costumes have been added since launch.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is available on the Nintendo Switch worldwide. As a reminder, you can only get all three Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC expansions if you purchase the $19.99 expansion pass.
