Mario Kart Tour Adds Ice Mario, Penguin Luigi, and Wintertime Peach

The Mario Kart Tour Ice Tour’s new contents have been announced, and it unfortunately won’t include any entirely new racers. Instead, it will have a version of Luigi using a Super Mario Bros. Wii power-up, Peach in a season-appropriate outfit, and Ice Mario.

Since this is a winter course, everyone is ready to endure the elements. Penguin Luigi has on the Penguin Suit from Super Mario Bros. Wii. Peach is Wintertime Peach, wearing a a grey coat with matching hat. Instead of being a Mario who is using an Ice Flower, Ice Mario is entirely made out of ice. Think of Metal Mario, except blue. All three of them have the Ice Flower as a special power-up, which lets them fire snowballs at opponents.

Some of the new tracks were revealed in the Mario Kart Tour Ice Tour as well. Mario Kart 64’s Frappe Snowland and Super Mario Kart’s Vanilla Lake will make their debut.

The last few tours have all added alternate versions of drivers. The Holiday Tour added Party Time Pauline and Reindeer Yoshi. The New Year’s Tour brought with it Happi Mario and Party Time Toad.

Mario Kart Tour is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The Ice Tour will run until January 28, 2020. silicon
