Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is an augmented reality game. This means as your kart is racing around in the game, the toy is following cues from certain items places on the “track” you created in the real world. This can involve Mario Kart Live gates and arrows that help direct you on the way. And now, Nintendo has shared a way to make replacement signs. [Thanks, GoNintendo!]
It’s all rather simple. Nintendo’s official Japanese site brought up how people can print extra arrows, if needed. It then provided a PDF with the necessary Mario Kart Live gate and arrow signs needed to help construct a course. A4 paper size is needed to properly print and then use these additional signs for a course. Also, the gate signs only include the 1, 2, 3, and 4 images and don’t provide additional materials to actually create full extra gates.
As a reminder, to play Mario Kart Live, you need the full kit that includes a kart, the gates and arrows, a game cart, and the Nintendo Switch. For multiplayer games, an additional Switch, kart, and copy of the game will be needed.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is now available everywhere. People can get the Mario Set or the Luigi Set, which are $99.99 each. (As you might imagine, the Luigi Set has Luigi as your playable character in-game.)
