Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack Wave 3 DLC Release Date Set

We’ll soon be halfway through the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe updates. Nintendo announced both the release date and courses that will show up in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack Wave 3 DLC. It will debut on December 7, 2022. Eight courses will appear in the new Rock Cup and Moon Cup.

As for the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pack Wave 3 DLC tracks, here’s what people will see in each up. Of the eight courses, none are completely new. All of them are pulled from past Mario Kart games.

Rock Cup:

  • 3DS Rock Rock Mountain
  • GBA Boo Lake
  • Tour London Loop
  • Wii Maple Treeway

Moon Cup:

  • 3DS Rainbow Road
  • DS Peach Gardens
  • Tour Berlin Byways
  • Tour Merry Mountain

As a reminder, there are two ways to access these new courses. Someone can buy the Course Pass on its own for $24.99. It is also included in the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. However, if you get access to it via the latter, you will lose access if you stop subscribing. Also, either the basic version of NSO or the one with Expansion Pack is required to race online.

Here’s a video showing off how the new DLC tracks look in-game.

This means three more waves of DLC are left. Nintendo noted at the end of the latest trailer that Waves 4-6 will appear before 2023 ends.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is available for the Nintendo Switch, and Booster Course Pack Wave 3 DLC release date is December 7, 2022.
