The two new My Hero Academia OVA parts won’t just air in Japan on August 16, 2020. They’ll also appear outside Japan at the same time on August 15, 2020 at 8am PT/11am ET/5pm CET on both Funimation and Crunchyroll. This means people worldwide will all get a chance to see Deku and his fellow U.A. High School classmates enjoy their new Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training adventure at once. [Thanks, Anime News Network!]
The two parts of My Hero Academia: Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training will both air one after the other. Each one will feature Japanese voice acting with English subtitles. Also, if you want to make sure you’re in the right place to watch them without being spoiled, make sure you get into the third season of the show. Being around episode 51, 52, or 53 might be a good idea, as these My Hero Academia OVAs happen before the Provisional Hero License Exams.
Funimation released an official synopsis for these two special episodes:
In this brand-new adventure, some Class 1-A students are sent to hone their survival skills at a training course. Having yet to receive their provisional licenses, they’re eager to cut loose and have a little fun.
They quickly discover that the danger they face is no simulation! It’s going to take their combined training, teamwork, and quick thinking if they’re going to pass this assignment!
And here are some stills from the OVAs from the official Japanese site.
Both the first and second parts of the My Hero Academia Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training OVAs will air worldwide simultaneously on August 15th or 16th, depending on where you live. As far as games go, My Hero One’s Justice 2 is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and Mei Hatsume is about to join its roster as paid DLC.
