Magical Girl Holowitches is a mixed-media project featuring some of the VTubers from Hololive as magical girls. From the banner, we can see that Holowitches will feature Shion, Miko, Marine, Chloe, Luna, and Kanata. More information on the story, as well as if other Hololive VTubers will make cameo appearances in the manga, will come out at a later date.

The talents participating in the project will also have a commemorative stream on May 16, 2024, in which they can talk about it some more. This stream will take place at 8:00 PM JT. That would be 4 AM PT/7 AM ET on the same date.

Cover has released alternate stories based on its talents in the past. For example, there was a multimedia project quite literally called Hololive Alternative, which Cover announced in 2021. It focuses on the characters’ daily lives outside of their livestreams and serves as the basis for the Holoearth game.

The first chapter of the Magical Girl Holowitches manga, as well as the main trailer for it, will come out on May 16, 2024, in Japan.
