Made in Abyss and Assassination Classroom Join Toonami Schedule

More shows are joining the Cartoon Network Toonami schedule. The station took to Facebook to confirm that the Made in Abyss anime will be part of the lineup. It is the second new inclusion, as Assassination Classroom season 2 showed up for the first time on January 8, 2022.

In Made in Abyss, players follow an orphan named Riko and a robotic relic named Reg. The two head into a hole called The Abyss. She wants to find her mother, while Reg wants to find out who and what he is.

Meanwhile, Assassination Classroom season 2 continues the story of a class of students attempting to assassinate their alien-like teacher, Koro-sensei. They must assassinate him before the year ends and he destroys the school. However, the more time they spend with him, the more they learn about the events surrounding the situation.

Here’s the Toonami show schedule that will take effect on January 15, 2022.

  • 12am: Blade Runner
  • 12:30am: Assassination Classroom (two episodes)
  • 1:30am: Made in Abyss
  • 2am: Naruto Shippuden (two episodes)
  • 3am: Cowboy Bebop (two episodes)

In the past, the Cartoon Network Toonami schedule included shows like My Hero Academia and SSSS.Gridman.

People will be able to catch both Assassination Classroom and Made in Abyss during the Toonami schedule on January 15, 2022.
