Konami likely broke some hearts when it announced LovePlus Every, the mobile LovePlus installment, would be shutting down on August 5, 2020. After all, the game didn’t even reach its first birthday, as it only launched in October 2019. But now, the company confirmed on its official website that a Kanojo Plus Lite mode will let people keep in touch with Manaka, Nene, and Rinko after the end. [Thanks, BlackKite and Gematsu!]

Kanojo Plus Lite will be added in LovePlus Every 1.6.0. Once it is available, people will be able to take normal and augmented reality photos with the three girlfriends or use the VR elements. (You can change their clothes There will also still be various VR events available, including one from the 2017 Tokyo Game Show. You’ll just need to press the green Kanojo Plus Lite button on the opening screen.

What will be handy about this feature is that people who didn’t play for long or unlock things will still have access to elements. For example, as Gematsu pointed out, the four VR Album events listed on the site, which are “Beach Nap,” “In the Girl’s Room,” “My Sweet Valentine,” and the TGS 2017 “Summer After School,” will be available to everyone immediately. There will also be additional clothing added for this mode.

LovePlus Every is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Its online elements will be available until August 5, 2020, but Kanojo Plus Lite will be available after. The ability to load your settings and profile in Kanojo Plus Lite through the options menu will be available until October 31, 2020.
