Lost Sphear Gets A January 23 Release Date For North America And Europe

Following the announcement of Japan’s release date for I Am Setsuna studio Tokyo RPG Factory’s Lost Sphear, Square Enix announced that the RPG is headed Westward on January 23, 2017.

 

Here are some new details from the PlayStation Blog with an introduction to two new characters Sherra and Obaro as well as the “Volcosuit” mech suit feature.

 

Sherra

Sherra is a priestess who uses a traditional bow of similar range to Locke’s crossbow. However, while Locke uses crossbows and tinkers with mechanical crafting, Sherra specializes in heal magic and various bow-related abilities.

 

Obaro

Obaro is an elderly man who came back into existence upon the awakening of Kanata’s power. Contrary to the physical strengths of Kanata and his friends, Obaro specializes in unleashing powerful elemental magic, demolishing large enemy mobs.

 

Vulcosuit

The Vulcosuit is mechanized armor gifted to the people from the ancients within the world of Lost Sphear. This armor serves a dual purpose as enhanced in-battle weaponry and tools you can use in certain map environments. Each piece of armor has its own unique capabilities, so make sure to search for all of them!

Those who pre-order Lost Sphear on the PlayStation Store will receive a ‘Memoirs of the Moon’ Dynamic Theme for PS4 as well as two music tracks on launch day with ‘Market Town Marpennig’ and ‘Town of Elgarthe.’

 

Physical Edition versions will be available exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for PS4 and Switch.

 

Lost Sphear releases in North America and Europe on January 23, 2018 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Switch. The game launches a few months earlier in Japan on October 12, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Switch.
