Lord Of Arcana Is Certainly More Bloody Than Monster Hunter

Lord of Arcana, being a local multiplayer game for the PSP, looks very much like Square Enix’s take on Monster Hunter. The first trailer even starts with “go beyond a hunter, become a slayer” before showing Krueger, a slayer, fighting a dragon.

You might have heard of him before. You know, Bahamut.

One key difference between the games is the level of violence. Krueger sliced Bahamut’s tail off and blood sprayed out. The others you’ll have to find out for yourself on August 19. That’s when Square Enix will distribute a playable demo.
